Vinton Facility: Cleaning Abilities

Frontier Seeds has established a long term relationship with Sanders & Sons that started in 1996. World Food Processing teamed up with the Sanders & Sons in 2003 and currently contract and condition at the North Eastern Iowa location. They currently operate under a stringent IP Program that tracks product through the entire system to maintain variety and individual lot integrity. In the future we plan to incorporate Sanders & Sons into our ISO 9000 certification program.

Sanders & Sons conditioning facility allows us to clean product to meet our customer’s needs and request’s. Their Conditioning Facility was finished in 1998 and features a Crippen Air Screen Cleaner, Forsberg Gravity Table, Sutter Steel Sizer, Double Enclosed Spiral and Crippen Polisher.

Our partnership with Sanders & Sons is an excellent example of our goal to establish long term, lasting relationships. Many of our varieties work excellent in this area and also allow for local conditioning and processing, which decreases long distance freight needs.
