We face many challenges in this industry. What will the future hold as the world population grows from 6.5 billion today, to an estimated 10 to 12 billion by 2030? Along with the increased demand in food quality, futurists predict a demand for an improvement in the quality of food. How will we meet future human protein needs, both in quantity and quality? Soy may be the answer to these problems. The quality and quantity of nutrients contained in soybeans makes them an excellent food base for many different countries and a variety of different foods.
Today, consumers are beginning to understand the health benefits associated with having soy foods in their diets. We currently understand that with new tasty soybean genetics combined with innovative processing and application techniques, the future of soy is bright and promising!
