World Food Processing: ISO 9000.
World Food Processing is pleased to announce its participation with the ISO 9000 System. ISO, standing for International Organization for Standardization, began in 1947 to develop common international manufacturing standards in Europe. Today 120 countries recognize this standard as a way to track and maintain the quality control of products being produced from companies in their country.
The main function of the ISO System is to meet the requirements and guidelines set forth by the ISO 9001-2000 Quality System by creating and using a working Quality Management System. World Food Processings objective is to maintain current registration of the Quality Management System by using a registered auditor, and setting a model for Quality Assurance in production, installation, and services for OCIA and Iowa Grain Dealers License.
Outside feedback from World Food Processings customers, growers and business contacts ensures proper improvements are made to the business. WFP relies heavily on all employees to guarantee their work is in accordance with the documented Quality Management System, ensuring that products/services meet the customers specified requirements. All employees are responsible for identifying areas the company can improve and management is responsible for implementing procedures that set in motion the continual improvement and success of the companys future.
