World Food Processing: Group Leader System

The WFP Group Leader System was developed, with the farmer in mind, to distribute contracts more efficiently to growers. This system allows us to reach out into existing farmer cooperatives and groups that are already qualified to be WFP growers. Many of our Group Leaders work for an elevator, which allows growers to price their crop locally. Growers then have a local contact that can help them learn how to properly handle IP products, conduct training’s and find out about new programs and varieties when they become available.

There are many requirements and stipulations for becoming a Group Leader for WFP. Please view our “Group Leader Expectations” and “Rules and Conditions” for a more detailed list of requirements.

Please contact John Pape at pape@worldfoodp.com if you would like more information about becoming a World Food Processing Group Leader.
